News
9th August 2008

Having just been updating the web site I have noticed a few errors. Oops sorry but in future if anyone notices anything can they please email me jon@graysmotorsport.co.uk or jgrayjnr@dacs.ltd.uk plus any other news would be good.

Brands Hatch 6th June.

11th June 2008

Aaron Steele is to compete in rounds 4 & 5 this Sunday in the Edge F3 series, After a successful test at Brands last week, with a further test to take place at Brands on Thursday 12th, Aaron will be well prepared for his Maiden F3 race.

It is planned for Aaron to progress into F3 for 2009, however at this stage has not committed to any particular series, the team behind him identified the Edge Club F3 series as a opportunity for Aaron to gain valuable experience not in just testing in F3, but in race craft too.

Aaron maiden test on his home circuit went very well he was very soon on the pace and comfortable working with Grays Motorsport ,

"Aaron was instantly on the pace by the end of the first session and I honestly believe he stands a real chance of winning on Sunday. He showed great pace with commitment but also maturity during the test."  Jon Gray Graysmotor Sport

Young Gun Aaron age 19 from Rochester in Kent, a former BMW Scholarship winner, with further experience in Formula Renault ( 5th in last years BARC Series ) and with a FPA Autumn Trophy vice Championship is more than looking forward to racing the DACS Dallara F3, " Brands is my home circuit, one of which I know very well, the F3 is simply fantastic to drive, the down force is amazing, I have a lot of confidence going into this event, both with myself and Grays Motorsport giving me a car that can get me on the podium.

Perhaps Aaron's entry into the Edge Club F3 series may make other Young Gun career drivers consider this move as a serious option.

4th March 2008

After much debate during 2007 it has been confirmed that we are graded as a series for 2008 by the MSA based on our grid numbers during 2007. We have revised our regulations and have had them submitted and approved by the BRSCC/MSA. Hopefully during this season our entrees will increase then we can apply for championship status if it is viable.  The MSA are setting an average of 19 cars per event for any series in 08 to maintain it's championship status.

Neil Tofts Silverstone Test

26th November 2007

Grays Motorsport gave Neil Tofts a run at Silverstone on Friday 23rd on a general test day. The test came about after GMS offered a test in a Club F3 car to any driver interested in the series as part of a thread on the 10 tenths motorsport forum.

Neil a competitive formula ford driver drove really well and showed real potential in difficult conditions due to the lack of track temperature. Hopefully Neil will be joining in the 2008 season.
