Aaron Steele is to compete in rounds 4 & 5 this Sunday in the
Edge F3 series, After a successful test at Brands last
week, with a further test to take place at Brands on Thursday 12th,
Aaron will be well prepared for his Maiden F3 race.
It is planned for Aaron to progress into F3 for 2009, however at
this stage has not committed to any particular series, the team
behind him identified the Edge Club F3 series as a opportunity for
Aaron to gain valuable experience not in just testing in F3, but in
race craft too.
Aaron maiden test on his home circuit went very well he was very
soon on the pace and comfortable working with Grays Motorsport ,
"Aaron was instantly on the pace by the end of the first
session and I honestly believe he stands a real chance of winning on
Sunday. He showed great pace with commitment but also maturity

Young Gun Aaron age 19 from Rochester in Kent, a former BMW
Scholarship winner, with further experience in Formula Renault ( 5th
in last years BARC Series ) and with a FPA Autumn Trophy vice
Championship is more than looking forward to racing the DACS Dallara
F3, " Brands is my home circuit, one of which I know very well, the
F3 is simply fantastic to drive, the down force is amazing, I have a
lot of confidence going into this event, both with myself and Grays
Motorsport giving me a car that can get me on the podium.
Perhaps Aaron's entry into the Edge Club F3 series may make other
Young Gun career drivers consider this move as a serious option. |
